Hair Care ❤ Hair Treatment featuring Olive Oil

This week haircare post is featured by Olive Oil.

Olive oil is famous for its natural benefits in healthy cooking, beauty and health care.
During ancient time, Greek used olive oil to slow down the process of hair loss. Over the years, the application of olive oil diverse in hair care and skin care.

Olive oil is rich in monounstarurated fat -- oleic acid (55-85%); polyunsaturated fat --- omega-3 fatty acid (alpha-linolenic acid) and omega-6 fatty acid (linoleic acid); antioxidants (phenols & tocopherols); and vitamin E.

These are the functions of olive oil hair treatments: 

Treat dull, dry, brittle, and damage hair
Reduce static and control hair frizz
Smooth hair cuticles
Improve oveall health of hair and scalp

How to:

Prepare 3 table spoon of extra virgin olive oil.
Any grade of olive oil will do. =D

Warm it up in warm water for 15 minutes.

Get ready your hair. Preferably damp hair as olive oil easier to apply.

Firstly apply on tips of hair. Give extra Love on this area as they are most damaged part. >__<
Put a towel on shoulder to avoid oil drip onto clothes. You don't want any oil stain on your shirt, right?

Then, apply them throughly whole hair.
For dry scalp, it is okay to put olive oil on the scalp. It actually can help to moisturise and treat your scalp. <3
For oily scalp, aplly olive oil 1 inch away from scalp.

Give 'em a little massage~

Wrap it up in shower cap & warm towel.
Wait for 20-30 minutes & rinse off!

Wash hair like usual routine - shampoo and a little of hair conditional.
If the olive oil is difficult to wash off, It's means you use too much oil. Wash it twice with small amount of shampoo and rinse with warm water.
